Training Courses

Six training options, from first solo to Commercial Pilot Licence. Full-time or part-time, tailored to your schedule. Intake is rolling — class size is kept intentionally small.

Private Pilot Licence (H)
Minimum qualification to fly a helicopter carrying passengers. Tailored theory and practical training, taught one-on-one. Fly anywhere in New Zealand on completion.

The minimum qualification to pursue a career as a professional pilot. Includes navigation, mountain operations, sling load, and advanced emergency procedures. Requires Class 1 Medical.

C-Cat Instructor Rating
Requires CPL, Class 1 Medical, 200 hrs total time, 150 hrs PIC, 10 hrs sling load, and 10 hrs mountain. Includes 25 hrs dual flight instructor training. One-on-one tuition.

On-site fleet includes the Hughes 300, Cabri G2, R44, and Bell 206B Jet Ranger. Instruction also available on R22, Bell 47, Hughes 500, Bell Long Ranger, EC120, and EC130.

Advanced Training
Turbine ratings on the Bell 206B (min 5 hrs), Night Ratings, Night Cross Country, Sling Ratings, Robinson RSAT, and Foreign Licence Conversion. One of few Auckland schools offering Night Cross Country.
